Death by Device

In her book, I GOT HIT BY A TAXI BUT YOU LOOK RUN OVER, Lisa Dietlin of Chicago analyzes pedestrian deaths. It is true they are rising. You make a good point that people out walking should pay attention to their own biology cells, not their cellular devices! (Note: I had the privilege of editing Ms. Dietlin’s book. The experience of being hit by a car while on her own two feet — and not being on a cell phone at that moment — changed her life in an interesting way.)
