No You Can’t : Why I’m Still Crying Over Hillary Clinton’s Loss.
Eirene Donohue

When I express to others the continued and now increased anxiety and sadness I feel after the election, I am often told not to despair and let’s just wait and see what Trump actually does and what kind of a president he will turn out to be. I wasn’t able to explain to those who have decided to take that route, why that will never happen for me. Now I can use your article and words to do so. This should have been the year(s) of the woman when we could all rise together in triumph. Instead we can’t even retreat to where we were before; women have not lost further ground. I am fortunate to be mostly surrounded by women who also walk and weep with heavy hearts and we’re working on an action plan that includes January 21! See you there?
