My Doing Stuff Rubix

Is it feasible to move any hobbies towards career?
Nah. I’ve tried moving painting into a side hustle last year with Etsy and showcasing my works at a local cafe. Though that was fun, I found that it just wasn’t my career. Artwork takes, really takes, a lot time to do great great artwork and some stillness and dedication. Well for me personally.
I don’t see myself becoming a top dancer any time soon either though I got some pretty clean popping skills lately.
I know right now my priority is in technology and business.

If it’s necessary to keep your day job, are there ways that you could carve out adequate time to pursue your creative hobbies on the side?
Well. I quit my day job. I committed myself 100% now hey?
I did that because basically I felt I was burning out, between juggling doing social media for multiple businesses, studying a BHSc, and wanting to pursue my own startup and researching like a maniac for that.
Having worked in a Startup Studio… multitasking is really really hard and I don’t think it helps you do amazing work. Just “ok” work all around.
But yes, having hobbies on the side is important sometimes if you work is draining and your hobbies keep you alive. For mental and body rejuvenation.
I want to focus on code and business and be amazing at that, to do epic things with it. Because that makes me feel alive at the moment too. If I feel my body does need a stretch, I’ll do yoga, gym, or dance.
What is your vocation?
Technology and health. Learning coding and sharing the opportunities behind exponential technology. (Reading Abundace by Peter Diamandis was a damn wake up call and top inspo).
Having a technical backing could be used to build things even if no one ever pays for me for it because I want to contribute to society in a way I care about.
