Thoughts on Work/Life

I’ve tackled this very specific question a couple of years ago during my architecture degree thesis. Since forever humans have seen themselves moving from one place to another, flows affected by economical, social or geographical conditions.

To Stay or to Leave.
It’s a question that everyone has asked himself at least once in a lifestyle.

But for us it’s a bit different. For people in my generation, us millennials, this thought recurs a bit more often. We are always on the lookout for the next adventure, for the next place we’d like to head to.
We’ve been affected by the travel bug, by this unstable feeling of always needing to explore new places, to wander in new lands.

And that’s not it. Work has also been transitioning with this new trend. A lot have adopted the remote work lifestyle, with digital nomads spurring all across the globe. As a digital nomad you are most of the time a freelancer that has succeeded on creating a network of clients with whom he can work from anywhere in the world.

What’s your take on remote work/life balance?
