Notoriety is a market pleaser these days and if one’s name and statement is republished in more than one place, then Notoriety and its Power of influence/representation remain. This is a prime means of TERRORISM, by the way. You want this behavior to cease — ignore it. The author’s defense is well-intended, but mostly toothless and supports the bullies’ purposes.
