Impromptu decision to catch drinks with coworkers cost me $16, then $25.27 to pick up a Staples order the print shop biffed and I was a little too tipsy / guilty for picking it up right before closing time to argue about — I just took it and ran. Oops!! Then I went over to my friend’s place to help her bind, and she bought me dinner to reimburse the labor + we watched Pacific Rim and it was just as amazing as I remembered.

Not pointing out I’d ordered AND paid for ivory cardstock cost me $13.38 in a second, rush Staples order from a different location (avoiding conflict at all costs, how Midwest of me). Saturday I also took the MTA to MoCCA to avoid being TOO sweaty ($5.50), though it was so crowded at the venue that I wound up pouring sweat anyway. I wound up spending $125.48 on comics, which, yikes, but well worth it and under the estimate I’d given for that particular venture. I met up with my friend toward the end of the fest and got ramen and dumplings ($29.04), then went home and read comics all night because I was too socially exhausted to go out.

Sunday my friend’s Kickstarter got funded, which yay! (but $20 on my credit card). I picked up groceries ($30.42, $.88 for the onion I forgot) and made lunches, dropped off my bike for a tuneup and subsequently put what I think will be enough money on my MTA card for the next few days ($25). Then I went to my friend’s place for Family Dinner, $10.98 for cheese.

I estimated $295, ended up spending $301.95, which is mighty close! Now to eat home made lunches and never go out for the rest of April.
