Interaction Design is the deliberate planning of exchanges between users and interfaces. Interfaces can range from objects to systems or environments. Design examines more than problem solving — it requires preferences, choices, and observations in order to be successfully implemented. Interaction Design is human-centered and requires large amounts of research and prototyping in order to ensure useful and intuitive communication between users and products.

Interaction Design is not just a response to today’s modern needs — it is so engrained and integral to our lives that it can shape the direction in which our world will develop and sustain.

Interaction Design is a cycle.
