Death is not the only word we say here
Eric Olsen

My mother died in hospice at home last June after being diagnosed with several aggressive cancers in April 2016. On the day she passed, mere hours before her final breath, her caregivers said she was “transitioning” instead of “dying.” I can’t get the sound of her last gasp of breath out of my head. Eric, I’m sorry for your loss, and thank you for sharing your story. I wish you and yours peace in this difficult time.
