Israel Teaching Fellows Applications now open!
Hi my name is Dana and I am currently doing the Masa Israel Teaching Fellows program in Netayna.
So far, my Masa ITF experience has been life changing, even more so than what I imagined. I came knowing that I would grow as a person, but didn’t think I would grow this much. I came to Israel wanting to find myself, and what I found is something much more. I found lifelong friends, a new sense of independence, confidence in my ability to live on my own and take care of myself, and happiness beyond belief. Israel has always been home, since I was born here, but now I truly feel part of this one-of-a-kind community.
If you are considering ITF here is my advice: do it! Don’t hold yourself back because you’re worried about the length of the trip, or being away from the familiarity of your home town and your family. Immerse yourself in the Israeli culture and what this beautiful and amazing country has to offer. You’ll learn things about yourself you never knew were there, you’ll grow as a person exponentially, and you’ll create the best and most lasting memories of your life. Don’t be scared to come because of the situation, because as a Jew there’s no safer place for you to be than Eretz Israel. You won’t regret it!
