How is this world fair? It is still unbelievable to me that someone can do such an awful thing.

Commit a murder.

Nobody should ever deserve to die. Why can’t we all just live in peace? In a world without guns and murderers? Who gives you the right to take away somebody’s life?

I am really shaken up by this. I am slowly losing hope in all of mankind. Why do we have to be so cruel to each other? We are all equal. We shouldn’t have a say in who dies and who lives. That should be God’s job. And God, where are you now? Why aren’t you keeping these things from happening?

We all have a path. But it definitely isn’t dying because somebody shot us. THEY decided that we should die. But they shouldn’t have had that right in the first place.

I wrote this when the death of Christina Grimmie occurred. Can relate to both the Orlando shooting and the most recent killing of black men. But also relatable to every murder that was ever committed.

It shouldn’t be like this. It shouldn’t matter if you’re straight, gay, bi, white, black, yellow, tall, short, fat, skinny. It should all be about your soul. It should be about how you treat others and how you act. About your personality. But even if you’re the most terrible person on the planet, you shouldn’t deserve to die. And dying shouldn’t be for anyone to decide but ourselves and God.

Why do we have the tendency to want a better life but just make it worse? I cannot understand what has this world turned into. I think a 16-year-old girl like me shouldn’t be disappointed in mankind. But I am.

And it’s sad. I wish I had a bigger influence... I will try my best to make that happen. This world needs a change. I do not want to live in a world like this.
