Why I write

I write to vent. Writing has always been my personal therapy. In pouring my thoughts onto paper (or instagram, or various blogs) I find a sudden spike in energy, creative energy. I write because I have an intrinsic need to express myself through art. I write because I enjoy getting creative with words. I write because I have thoughts to share and a preference to do so in said writing. That preference stems from being introverted and socially anxious, which make verbal expression of thoughts quite the challenge. I write to live.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
