A List of 20 Things I Love and why You Should Make One Too

It’s easy to get caught up in our busy schedules, our struggles, or simple distractions, that whatever it is, we forget about what makes us happy and makes life worth living. Excluding materialistic things, when we’re reminded of what brings us joy we can be saddened if it’s something we miss or haven’t experienced in a while. Not only is it important to have good connections with others but with ourselves as well. I think one of the saddest things is when a person doesn’t know them self or loses touch with their unique independent senses. They go about their daily life as human robots, living day by day the same as the last. That being, going through routinely motions of the tasks for the day or being lazy and wasting time, all with a blank face and lifeless stare.
It’s not a bad idea to once in a while think of the things that give our life meaning and purpose. So, I decided to come up with a list of the most random things that make me happy. I suggest you take some me time and make one yourself, physically or mentally. It took a while to complete mine because it’s something I normally don’t dwell on. But when you come across the question of what your interests are, it’s nice to answer something other than the usual responses of traveling, dogs, and watching netflix:)
