Announcing Our Second Round of Funding Featuring Hypersphere, Coinbase Ventures and More

The last six months have been an incredible journey for KYVE. We’ve improved the product, added new integrations, expanded our team with great talent, and greatly expanded the community. Our mission is more ambitious than ever: we want to be the default data collection and calculation tool for all Web3 projects.

To achieve this ambitious goal, we are proud to announce that we have closed our second fundraiser led by Permanent Ventures and Hypersphere Ventures, as well as prominent crypto funds and networks such as Volt Capital, Mechanism Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Distributed Global, 4SV, Compute Ventures , Zee Prime, CMS Holding, Ternary Capital, Flori Ventures (Celo’s venture arm), Mina Foundation, Octopus Network, Composable Finance and a group of notable angel investors including Justin Kahn (founder of Twitch), Robin Chan, Santiago Roel Santos, John Skianna from Nifty’s, Ganesh and Eric from Covalent and Alex Shevchenko from Aurora. In addition, we received a grant from the Lunar Beam Foundation. The whole team is more than ever focused on making this project a success.

What will happen next?

Additional Integrations and Features
We plan to repeat the protocol in the coming months to improve KYVE. We recently launched a private ambassador/beta tester program to get better feedback from the community and provide the features they need. As we want to become the default data collection and calculation tool, we hope to convince more and more web3 projects to integrate with us.

Stimulated Testnet. During the last months we have been improving our website and protocol, which will be released soon. After the release, we aim to launch an incentivized testnet, collect more feedback from the community, and reward contributors who have helped us since day one.

Recruitment

We are looking for new talent to help us scale and replicate KYVE. We are looking for a Marketing/Development Manager, Software Engineer, Solidity Developer and Technical Support Manager for the next months. More information will appear shortly.
