What is spirituality?

The most rudiment definition of spirituality is making peace between soul and mind. We can also say it is about attaining peace and contentment within.

One can only attain spirituality only if one is deeply interested, have a desire , or need of it. It is not a responsibility that one have to fulfil. It is not like becoming bodily fit in order to impress our society. It is not like building a higher lifestyle in order to cope with peer pressure. It is not similar to working hard to get a job to make both ends meet.

A person can only endeavour on his spiritual well-being only if his soul is yearning for it. Not only when he's interested in it but it is his need only that is when a person is interested in a self improvement. Where finances, physical health, fitness, social circle are crucial, spiritual health is equally necessary for once well-being.

SOME TIPS:

Here I will share some tips one can work on for self improvement in order to attain spirituality.

1. Solitude

Above all is solitude. Only when a person is alone he is able to know himself a little better. He comes to know about his imperfections, shortcomings , deficiencies and whatnot. He get to know about the domains of his personality that he needs to work on. Basically, when a person is in a gathering he is unable to see his inabilities. He is very busy in proving himself “something” to society.

So first of all, try to spend some time with yourself and think about nothing else but YOUR OWN SELF.

2. Gratitude

Another thing that you need to know and do is to have gratitude. Nobody in this world is empty handed. Each of us acquire different abilities, thought, things to be grateful for. Infect these contrasting abilities of ours bring different colors in this world. In that way, we are able to offer different things to this world. One tip to feel grateful is by comparing yourself with someone lesser than you, not higher than you. In this way you will be thankful and pleased for what you have.

So second tip is to carry gratitude in your attitude.

3. Patience

Patience is a tool that makes us able to live in between these contrasting personalities. Patience is not something we are born with but is something we have teach ourselves over the time.

Patience is a tool that calms down wavy storms. It helps us tranquilize and repose which itself is best in our spiritual and self – improvement journey.

4. Love

It is human’s inbuilt desire to love and feel loved by some one. It is in his nature to have devotion for someone or to admire someone.

Many people love different things, some love materials, some love other individuals, even some admire their own selves.

But here’s my Advise, Love , admire, bow down, appreciate the One. The creator of creation. If we bow down to the One who is the creator of love itself, than it is possible that we get tranquillity within ourselves because we are loving the one who puts love in the hearts of others.
