Utility of Retaining Walls in Contemporary Construction Projects

What is a Retaining Wall?

In order to avoid such issues, rocks and gravel are used strategically to ensure that the flow of water does not affect the condition of the wall in any manner.

The top layer of the retaining wall is kept six inches higher than the ground, and if the water flow is heavy, then the height is increased further. It is always best to have a high wall as it provides protection in the future as well. Concrete contractors build retaining walls which are usually not higher than five feet and use soil as a base for construction of cantilever styled retaining walls.
