May I nitpick? Arpaio was not “convicted last month in Arizona on charges of racial profiling and violating the rights of Latinos.”
He was convicted first of civil contempt, then later of criminal contempt of court for violating court orders.
The orders were to “to stop singling out drivers based on ethnicity and detaining them without charges.”

While the underlying offense had to do with constitutional violations, the actual criminal charge was repeated violation of court orders going back to 2011. He was given lots of chances to stop violating the law and court orders, and the voters finally had enough sense to vote him out.
While I’d suggest changing the end of the first sentence to “convicted of criminal contempt of court,” this is pretty irrelevant to the gist of your article, about the historically important pardons coming down the pike from our visionary President.
