YouTube was founded in 2005 and only in 2008 did Youtube introduce monetization.

Many hopped onto YouTube to share their videos for fun. Even though monetization was a thing, many didn’t know they can earn money on the platform yet.

A gaming Youtuber that goes by Captainsparklez started his channel on the 20th of July 2010. He played other games at first but gain significantly more views when playing Minecraft.

His videos soon went viral, gaining millions of views each day. The most notable thing about his channel is his Minecraft parody and original music videos.

His first parody of Taio Cruz’s Dynamite called ‘TNT’ gained over 110 million views over time.

Since then, he has produced many other Minecraft parodies and originals. Many of which had gained over 100 million views, with one in particular called “Revenge” gaining over 200 million views.

His songs inspired many other Minecraft YouTubers to make their own parodies and songs. Soon Minecraft went viral and became the top games watched on the platform.

Currently, Captainsparklez first and second channels gained 3,855,196,137 views (3.8 billion views) which assuming that he earn 1$ per 1,000 views which is average…
