1. MasterNode Test
The MGD master node’s network has already been developed, but why is taking so long?
The master node is related to the entire network, transfer functions, etc., so the testing must be carried out cautiously with multiple rounds of debugging.
At present, our engineers have deployed 20 primary nodes for testing. The primary node is quite demanding on the server’s stability. In many cases, network jitters will affect the server’s stability. And to avoid this, we need to test on miners from different brands and that are distributed in the Chinese Mainland and overseas on 9 servers for cross-test users for cross testing.
The tests include spork remote control, network impact, soft fork function, high-frequency instant payment on the network, compatibility with older versions, and mobile phone wallet instant payment being affected.
More details on the master node such as server configuration requirements, revenue calculations, etc., will be announced at the completion of the test before July 15.
2. Development of the Upgraded Version of Miners
In addition to the main node test, another important task being undertaken by the MGD lab is distributed AI training (MGD Labs has begun training AI)
MGD has commissioned a mining machine manufacturer to start the development of a special miner. The miner can perform graphics rendering and AI training and then it can undertake the distributed GPU cloud computing of MGD. Of course, its cost is higher than that of the same type of ordinary miner. We will also make announcements in the official community on the subsequent progress of the mining machine.
3. The official community broke through 25,000 people
As of 24:00 on July 5, the total number of official communities was 25,742.
