1. Master node function to realize real-time payment
The master node capability has been developed and started to run smoothly on the test network, and will be released after the test is completed.
Why do we want to use master nodes?
MassGrid has always wanted to do a distributed computing network. Distributed computing network requires systems to simultaneously handle multiple requirements in parallel. The ability of the system to process multiple requirements in parallel can be called “high concurrency.”
At the current rate, blockchain cannot support high concurrency due to performance limitations, which is one of the reasons why the adoption of blockchain has been limited.
The solution is the master node. The master node network constructed by MassGrid is equivalent to adding a secondary network to the original underlying network. The master node is located on the secondary network. It can independently verify all transactions on the blockchain and update data in real time. It is mainly responsible for the blockchain of broadcasts and verification of transactions. When multiple master nodes determine the same result, they are sent to the common node.
With the increase number of master nodes, the high concurrency of the system will be directly improved and the system synchronization and display of information over the entire network will be faster. At present, the most intuitive experience that can be realized is a fast real-time payment. In addition, the master node can also provide validation support for GPU operations.
2. POS mechanism
In the past week, multiple currencies were attacked by 51%, and multiple currencies began to consider the introduction of POS mechanisms. Quietly, MassGrid has already completed the POS mechanism this week and it is currently running smoothly on the test network. It will be officially released soon.
Under the POS mechanism, an attacker needs to hold more than 51% of the currency in the world to be able to attack, which greatly increases the difficulty of doing this type of attack. In the follow-up, we will continue to technically optimize our system to ensure maximum security.
3. 111600MGD were mined last week
The current earnings of the custody machine have been issued on June 4th. Compared with the previous period, the revenue of each miner has increased by 6.7%. The details are as follows.
