Maybe you’re right, but I hope you don’t. Meteor is still to much in continuous evolution and that is source of troubles for many of us. Blaze announcement in favor of more fancy rendering frameworks like React has been a major point of uncertainty that threaten the stability of Meteor community. Blaze is not perfect but it’s pretty used by developers. I really hope that MDG is planning something smart to support the platform with a similar, even if more open, templating layer. 2 ways live update is too important and I don’t think that managing updates using observers is the solution.
That said, I’m convinced that it is always a good moment to start a Meteor application. On the other hand I cannot see any other framework out there which can make application development so pleasant and focused on functional instead of technical aspects.
