About your childhood memories and your mother tongue: I think what is interiorized in the early years of our life, they tell us, will form for the whole of our existence the character, the propensity to joy or vice versa to the dark struggle of living.

I like very much the poetry (Auguries of Innocence) of William Blake that towards the end goes like this:

“..Every morn and every night…..

Some are born to sweet delight,

Some are born to endless night…”
