The MASS consensus engine aims to become the basic infrastructure to all blockchain consensus layers. Based on a Proof-of-Capacity consensus protocol, the MASS consensus engine creates a consensus layer that is permissionless, fair, energy efficiency, secure, and universal, ensuring the fundamental security of the public chain. The MASS consensus engine is universal and is capable of providing consensus services across any number of public chains. Nodes use storage capacity to run the consensus protocol and do not require permission. The MASS consensus engine is fair and energy efficient; only a very small amount of computing resources is required, meaning everyone has the chance to participate.

● This past week, the MASS community development team continuously monitored the operation of the mainnet to ensure everything was working correctly. So far, all parameters in the mainnet have been normal and the amount of storage capacity in the network has been stably increasing.

● We also made further improvements to the GUI version of the full node wallet and optimised the database to improve performance. A new version of the full node wallet will be released soon.

● There were also improvements made to the GUI version of the mining full node. We have optimized the the interface in a number of ways to provide a better user experience, and a new release should be available shortly.

● Since MASS Net went live and became open source, there has been an explosion of interest in the project from developers all around the world. The MASS community development team has been been a close communication with a wide variety of skilled developers interested in joining the community, and the future looks bright for the development of the MASS ecosystem.
