Flan Recipe: How To Make DELICIOUS Flan

Flan is a sweet, creamy custard delicacy that is infused with a caramelized sugar syrup. It may appear elegant or difficult to prepare, but the most difficult aspect is waiting for it to cool completely before eating it. This flan recipe uses simple, everyday items that most people already have on hand.

Ingredients:

1 cup of White Sugar; 4 Eggs 1 (14 oz) can sweetened Condensed Milk; 1 (12 oz) can of Evaporated Milk; 1 tablespoon of Vanilla Extract; Pinch of salt

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. — In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat melt sugar until amber color — Do swirl it if needed, you’ll see that the sugar will need a little help turning that beautiful amber color. — Carefully pour hot syrup into 8 ramekins, turning the dish to evenly coat the bottom and sides. — In a blender add eggs, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla, and salt. — Blend the mixture until smooth. Pour egg mixture through a sieve into a measuring cup. — Place ramekins onto a baking dish and pour the egg mixture into the ramekins. — Place the baking dish into the oven and carefully add hot water up to halfway up the ramekins. Bake for 30–40 minutes. — Once the flan is fully cooked, carefully remove ramekins from the water and let them fully cool. — Use a paring knife around the edges. — Tilt upside down on a plate.
