As a leading European accelerator in the blockchain ecosystem, Masterblox is excited to announce its alliance with industry giant Amazon Web Services (AWS). This partnership allows Masterblox to provide hosting credits for its incubated projects and members of the newly-established blockchain hub, Poolside.

Poolside is a collaboration between Masterblox, Polkastarter, Consensys, and local unicorn factory Startup Lisboa. Located in the city center of Lisbon, the 700-square-meter building offers a coworking space for blockchain projects, conference rooms for hackathons and other events, and four terraces for open-air activities — making it a true paradise for blockchain enthusiasts.

One of Masterblox’s primary objectives is to empower the next generation of DeFi players with a significant impact on the ecosystem. Hosting credits can offset the expenses for early-stage projects and provide access to exclusive mentorship sessions.

The partnership with AWS also includes access to exclusive software offers, solution architects’ technical sessions, and even tailored webinars for the projects. This innovative combination of Masterblox’s in-house experience in decentralized markets with AWS’s unparalleled understanding of giant tech is limitless.

Masterblox is always looking for new partnerships to empower its projects, and this partnership with AWS is just the beginning. Stay tuned for further updates as they continue pushing innovation boundaries in the blockchain ecosystem.

About AWS and its involvement in the blockchain sphere:

AWS offers various services that can be utilized by blockchain projects, including Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) for running nodes and Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) for data storage. Also, Amazon Managed Blockchain service allows for creating and managing scalable blockchain networks, making it easy for projects to set up and maintain a secure and decentralized network.

AWS also provides several security features that can be leveraged by blockchain projects, such as Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) for network isolation and Amazon Key Management Service (KMS) for secure key management. These security features are crucial for blockchain projects as they often handle sensitive financial or personal data.

Another feature that AWS offers is integrating with other services, such as Amazon Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB) and Amazon Aurora. Blockchain projects can easily store and query their data and combine it with other systems and applications.
