I think that for us non-outlining types writer’s block may be more prevalent. I say that because after nearly a year I wrapped up the half-way point in my novel with, what I think is, cleverly done tying things together. Now what? I’m only halfway. I didn’t think of it as writer’s block though. I wrote some flash fiction and edited some old stuff while I stewed on the progression of my novel. After three weeks it came to me and I’m back at it.

Your declaration of some many ideas I think is a cause of some writer’s block. I say that because I read posts frequently about people that have these ideas and start on them and then die on the vine because they don’t know where to go with the idea. Some proclaim writer’s block. I don’t know if that is the case or not.

Perhaps, too many projects can be counter productive. However, just enough projects I think can be synergetic and help to play off one another.

Well, not to rehash what you have already said here, just enjoyed your piece.
