Living in cities, that are mostly covered in concrete has separated us from nature. which used to be the most natural place for us to be in.

However pending time in nature can give us pleasure and can help us relieve stress and anxiety, improve your mood, and boost feelings of happiness and wellbeing.

How much time have you spent in nature lately? before you answer that let me tell you something. to get the benefits of being in nature one doesn't have to escape the city into a forest. the benefits of being in nature can come from spending time even in a small park within a city.

We live in a time when we can find ourselves spending most of our time indoors, if its the office, our apt, restaurants, malls, etc. But our ancestors were tightly tied to time in nature — they had to be in order to survive.

humans have come a long way from the time the lived in nature. we now live in paved cities, are homes designed with concrete floors, we constantly walk with shoes. so you can say that everything separates us from nature.

The modern way we live has changed radically from life in the savanna, but our brains have mostly stayed the same. We still have a deep connection with nature, and research shows that if we don’t nourish that bond despite our technological advancements, we may suffer in many ways.

the research shows that spending time in nature (preferably barefoot) so you could really feel the earth and not separate yourself from it. will reduce your stress levels dramatically. but that's not all! it will also lower depression, anxiety, fatigue, and more.

It improves the mood and calms us down. and 20 minutes is all you need.
