Feature Update — Tipping messages and deputizing users!

This week, the Matchpool development team focused on adding a key feature to the platform: tipping the content of other users! Tipping allows users to “tip” users who make good content posts within pools. This will incentive users to make original and quality posts on the platform.
We’ve also officially deployed the “deputize” feature, which allows pool owners to grant administrator privileges to users within their pool. The team has been hard at work this week developing these new features and we hope you really enjoy working with them!
Feature addition — Tipping Messages
Allow contributors to receive GUP for meaningful and helpful information they share in groups. When users go to “tip” a post they deem valuable, they can select one of 4 options: 5, 10, 15 or custom amounts of Guppy. The default value for each “tip” will be set to 10 Guppy.
Feature addition — Deputizing Admins
Pool admins can now deputize pool members within pools. This will allow for better management and support for larger pools with more activity.
Conclusion
This week, the team completed development on some really exciting features: Tipping the content of others and deputizing pool members! Both were officially deployed to the web platform this week. We’re really excited for the community to get their hands on the platform with these new features!
