I appreciate your input steveglines, but do be so kind, and explain this to me please: the cost of print of my paperback on Lulu is less than $8, they are selling it for $18 — meaning the book certainly hasn’t been listed ‘at a cost.’ How and were my royalties set to zero in retail then, and $1 for what I sell in Lulu’s store when in the latter case they do nothing but print it?

Also explain this — why didn’t have they been able to explain how could this be when I sent them an email, but only made a vague statement that this has something to do with using their ISBN code?!

A platform that creates policies that are so hard to decipher that even their representatives are unable to give one a clear answer as to why one’s royalties were mysteriously set to zero, is not exactly trustworthy.

I don’t know what kind of books you publish and how that went for you, but this is what happened to me with my book. Furthermore, I’m surprised given your satisfaction, that Lulu has so poor reviews on so many sites.

It sure is possible that Lulu works for some people, but it didn’t work for me and many others based on the reviews published elsewhere. It’s certainly not a platform I can recommend. Or are you saying that only the people who have had positive experiences with Lulu should be allowed to published them?
