Yes, for small, new, and boutique publications that are not flooded by emails because they yet need to grow (and hope that your app would actually help them do that, since this is what you promised in your initial post) that would be a must. For me, that’s a must. One of the main reason being that as a writer I know how incredibly obnoxious it can get when some editors just do not respond and then you do not know whether they have even received your email or what to do with the draft you sent them. It’s just not cool, so I do not do that to the prospective writers in my publication and I am proud of the fact that I respond to everyone and check every draft in 24 hours.
