Agreed, DeHaan and Delevingne probably weren’t the best picks, besides the issues with their weak dialogue and missing chemistry. Heck, DeHaan looks barely old enuff to even be in the military, much less be a “Major” with “years of field experience”?!

But yeah, incredible eye-candy, and both the production values and CGI design sense are so detailed and creative, I wanna see it again on DVD just to check out the visuals in slo-mo. And while not usually a big fan of 3-D, IMHO it’s really a worthwhile, if not essential way to watch this gorgeous-looking film. BTW, interesting how American sci-fi design often tends to be kinda hard-edged and ‘mechanistic’, where the Euro approach is usually more “organic”.
