Globalism and the interwebs seem to be causing these kinda insulated and ‘less-populated’ areas & local cultures, to try and “redefine” themselves and their identity within this new, much more ‘connected’ world. But like emojis, unfortunately their choices for that new identity do often end up looking sorta exaggerated and ‘cartoonish’.
