Interesting, thx… and that does seem to be the crux of the matter, the different expectations and responsibilities of the residents, who BTW have also chosen to live there. Sorta like the current debate over providing cheap fed insurance for natural disasters, in places that everyone knows are chronically risky to begin with?!
So yeah, probably the safest bet is always gonna be the good ‘ol “your property, your fire, your problem!”
