I’m personally an advocate of the last one “Stop Thinking About Money”. I’ve had several fun side-projects and for one of them I was fortunate enough to convince others it was worth paying for (some marketing on my part didn’t hurt, so maybe that’s your next best bet).
I think it all comes down to *why* do you embark on a new project, rather than just leaving it at the idea stage? For me, there’s always a secondary goal of “hey it’d be great to get some extra cash” but primarily I treat all of these as learning experiences.
However you proceed, it’s great that you are taking some time to get perspective now. Even if you do decide to work on fewer projects, or have less time, keep a running list of ideas and maybe the first two or three steps you’d take. That’ll make it easier to revisit them when you do have a pocket of time, and you might be able to better evaluate which ones are worth pursuing.
