This weeks announcements from swiss media companys and recent strategic actions in the light of the Boston Consulting Group’s Growth/Market Share Matrix and the Product/Market-fit paradigm.

The Product/Market-fit framework is a fairly old concept from Marc Andreessen. It asks the question what correlates the most for success: the team, the product, or the market? Or, more bluntly, what causes success?

Briefly it says:

When a great team meets a lousy market, market wins.
When a lousy team meets a great market, market wins.
When a great team meets a great market, something special happens.

The second framework which I will apply here is this one from the Boston Consulting Group, which ranks the business units (or products) on the basis of their relative market shares and growth rates.

So, what did swiss media companies announce this week?

Based on the Frameworks and recent announcements and actions one could conclude like this:

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
