À la mi-mai, deux réunions portes ouvertes ont été organisées au Centre Pauline-Charron : une réunion générale le 13 mai et une réunion destinée aux entreprises le 16 mai. De nombreuses personnes y ont assisté. La phase de consultation du projet de revitalisation du chemin de Montréal s’achève donc.

Les travaux démarreront lors de la prochaine phase. Nous ferons appel à votre patience pendant cette période puisque des retards sont à prévoir. Nous attendons avec enthousiasme l’achèvement de ce projet au cours duquel un réel effort communautaire a été fourni. Nous tenons à remercier toutes les personnes qui ont participé à ce processus.


In mid-May we held two open houses at Centre Pauline Charron. May 13th was our general open house and May 16th was the business-only session. Both of these sessions were very well-attended. These two open houses mark the end of the consultation phase of the Montreal Road Revitalization Project.

The next phase, of course, is construction. Please be patient during this period as delays are to be expected. We eagerly anticipate the completion of Montreal Road. This was a community effort and we’re thankful to everyone who participated in the process.


On April 24th, 2019, we held our final working group. Special thanks to the members of our working group who took the time to share their thoughts and opinions.

The next steps are the final open house on May 13th and the special edition business open house on May 16. The May 13th edition will be held between 6 and 9 pm at Centre Pauline Charron and is a drop-in format.

We started off the meeting with an update from Public Art Plan staff Melissa Black and Rebecca Carbin. The plan that Rebecca created (after several public consultations) is ambitious and is a good representation of the community. …
