There is a lot of people trying to save moments at the festival. The streets are filled with smartphones capturing events, friends and Aarhus itself. Where ever you go you see the phones pointing at different motives. Many of the photographers are tourists who try to bring a feeling of Denmark back home.

One of the photographers at the festival is Kanoko Takahasi, an exchange student from Japan.“ I want to show my friends how the festivals looks like here. That’s why I’m taking all the pictures. Probably they will never be able to travel here themselves”.

Kanoko walks around at the street art festival and take pictures of everything that she finds interesting. And she is not the only one. The photos that is taken during the festival does not only have a personal value for the photographers, they do also help the artists and the festival to spread. Picture by picture.
