Perth Bike Survey

Matrix Traffic and Transport Data carried a series of pro bono surveys for Main Roads WA (MRWA). The surveys were done in order to provide some background data to MRWA in preparation for the proposed extension of the Fremantle Line PSP (Principal Shared Pathway) from Grant St to North Fremantle. Matrix undertook the surveys as part of its ongoing pro-bono program to assist with the development of active transport in Australian cities.

As well as the gender / type / direction data, full turning movement counts were done to identify the cyclist and pedestrian movements at the current termination point of the PSP at Grant St. We can make this detailed data readily available to anyone Click here.
