Took me a while to gather some thoughts on this…

Agree with Tim Grace’s point. It’s been a while since I gave unsolicited feedback on a great online experience. When I get excited about something online, I tend to keep it between myself and my friends. Unless it’s something negative. I reckon “no news is good news”.

Scores or surveys are so impersonal, but if there’s an ask for open-ended feedback during my experience, then I just might end up leaving a few ‘feels’. So maybe, measuring feelings is just be a “you don’t get what you don’t ask for” kind of thing.
