The Heineken Ad Is Worse Than The Pepsi Ad, You’re Just Too Stupid To Know It

The issues discussed in the commercial aside, how is it you want people to make peace with their differences?

I’ve been seeing a lot of people on both sides of the fence, Liberal and Conservative, attack the “opposing” side by calling out each other’s differences and then stonewalling future discussion. This sort of behaviour is what makes people go all the way left, or all the way right, too extreme in either case. Sitting down and discussing your opinions with the “opposing” side allows one to consider both sides of the fence, and more often then not, come to a more moderate conclusion on the issue. In my opinion, this discussion is crucial for us to move our civilization forward, politically and socially.

One other thing of note, you seem to be fighting for today’s touchy subjects like feminism and the like, so to me you sound like you’re trying to be tolerant. How can you call yourself tolerant, if you are intolerant of the intolerant?

Everyone is welcome to have their own opinion, whether or not it coincides with the popular stance on a given issue.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
