Robinne Lee Encourages Us All To Support Independent Film

In an era where big-budget blockbusters and franchises dominate the box office, it’s easy for smaller, independent films to get lost in the shuffle. However, actress and author Robinne Lee is making sure that one such film, Chevalier, gets the recognition it deserves. In a recent Facebook post, Lee excitedly shared her enthusiasm for the film and urged her followers to support independent cinema.

The post read: “I came across this trailer a few months back and made a mental note to see it, in theaters, if possible, if and when it came to Paris. Because oh my goodness — the trailer alone!! Have just learned that a friend of ours was the DP!! (Director of Photography or Cinematographer — for those of you unfamiliar with film speak) And now I am even more excited!! Huge congrats to Jess Hall, a fellow Jamaican, by way of the UK!! CHEVALIER opens in select theaters this weekend in the US! Catch it while you can! Support indie film!”
