You didn’t address anything I said in my comment, you just reiterated your point. I pointed out that there are things more risky to you on average than terrorism (Muslim or otherwise), yet I bet you aren’t commenting on articles about other actual everyday dangers that are FAR more likely to kill you or your family.
Yes terrorism is something people should be aware of, no one said otherwise. But what about all the other far more dangerous things we should be aware of that we aren’t talking about? Considering just how low the risk of terrorism is for the vast majority of people, it is quite telling of your bias that you still focus on that. I bet you put more time worrying about that than you do crossing the street, yet you are 1000x more likely to be killed by a car.
Furthermore you say you are okay with security checks at airports, yet most research and evidence shows that many of these checks don’t do anything to prevent terrorism. A lot of the machines we bought for these security checks are easily tricked and were purchased based on heavy influence from the people who own large shares in the companies that make them, hmmmmm….
It’s amazing to me how much we let irrational fear (it IS irrational if the thing you fear is far less dangerous than other things you don’t think much about) dictate our lives.
