MIAMI, FL—(Marketwired — Oct 16, 2014) — What does the man who has everything spend his money on? Well, Microsoft founder and billionaire Bill Gates, has apparently just spent $8.7 million dollars on a fabulous new home in Wellington, Florida and one resident who is very excited about welcoming Florida’s new arrival is internationally successful entrepreneur and businessman Matt Argall.

Bill Gates may be known the world over as the genius behind Microsoft, but many are unaware of his philanthropic endeavors. He has just announced a donation of $50 million to West Africa to fight the ongoing Ebola epidemic. The largest donation to date to a humanitarian crisis, the donation made through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will be used to fund control and treatment efforts to stop this deadly outbreak. The donation will be split between the World Health organization, United Nations, the US Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, and other international organizations that are on the front lines in this fight to stop the spread of this deadly disease.

Matt Argall, a driven entrepreneur in his own right, takes notice of what his new Florida neighbor does. He is following in Gates’ footsteps by making changes in the lives of others. He supports Pascale’s Pals Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists children with lengthy hospital stays, as well as their family members. The children of Haiti are another one of his beneficiaries. Since the earthquake four years ago caused such damage to the country, the country has been trying to recover. Matt Argall is helping that effort by putting over a hundred children through school. Making an impact is nothing new for this business entrepreneur. He has launched numerous companies and Internet endeavors from online retail to telecommunications, to water filtration, to the music industry. When he was just 17, he and a friend saved an online company. Taking a completely novel approach at the time, they would auction products they bought wholesale on eBay, then send it directly to the customer, cutting out overheads and creating a cheaper, and therefore, more popular product. His interest in marketing connected him with the UN Human Rights Commission, where he actually started as Treasurer. He later assumed the role as the group’s president, putting him in close contact with donors to the human rights cause. Many were from marketing companies, and he used the opportunity to learn from them and gain valuable experience. He never rests, and he is always looking for new ideas and opportunities and watching the markets for the next potential opening. His latest project is focused on the greeting card industry.

Business enthusiast and self-styled avid entrepreneur, Matt Argall spent the majority of his childhood in Canada, before moving to Florida. He’s still there, enjoying the sunny climate and living with his wife and son. From his home, he supervises his multiple businesses and enterprises. He spends his free time with his family, and is engaged with both local and international philanthropic causes.
