But this reminds me so much of a lot of the articles I’d see at the time, especially those that would a few years later be floating around in the new Wired magazine. They undersell the possibilities of the technology and oversell the human race.
I’m glad you mentioned games as well, since I see this come up so much in discussions about games. Just like a movie shouldn’t be a short as it possibly could be, games don’t need to be hundreds of hours, measured in some arbitrary fashion. It’s hard to judge these creative endeavors by some arbitrary yardstick that they must all fulfill.
