But while you’re here, Brooks, it feels like the promo-speaks“We’re proud to be the Triple-A franchise to a MLS team and hopefully, fingers crossed, Masters Garber and Gulati (long may they reign) will pick Ottawa to be another MLS franchise in the quest for butts in seats!!!” Admirable, but how does a lower league team promote itself as an ambitious competitor? How can (North) American club soccer have both a thriving culture but no real structure for mobility of labor or capital? I’m not expecting you to have the answers, but would love to hear your opinion.
