Did you know 13% of divorces were filed by women because their phony entrepreneur husbands preferred writing bogus click bait over them?
You specifically target how video games lead to divorce, linking to DailyMail article from 2011 written about a “study” by Divorce Online (a website that show’s a most recent copyright from 2009). The article claims the study showed that 15% of respondents believed their S.O. put video games before them. There is no link to the study, nor any indication of the sample size. I googled Divorce Online and had to go to page 2 just to find their site. You claim to be a PhD, yet show no appreciation for statistical rigor. You write it as if 15% of all divorces in the world are caused by video games. That is terrifically misleading, and throws any form of academic integrity out the window.
You mention that you have struggled with video game addiction in the past. It seems really obvious that are projecting your own urges to play games here. If you really wanted to be helpful, you would include video games in a larger category of unhealthy activities, including TV, porn, food, etc. These are all escapes too.
To me it just sounds like writing on medium is YOUR escape from reality, preventing you from enacting any social good. What does your wife say about your constant obsession with writing content?
