How about this: Liberals aren’t bad. Progress isn’t bad. If not for either their lives would not be so good as they have today. Such as:

The clean water they use to make their morning coffee good because some tree-hugging liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards backed by scientific research. Same goes for the medication they may take made safe because some liberal egg-head fought to insure their quality and worked as advertised.

The safety of the food industry was regulated by some liberal thinking that but the safety of people over profits. Science was used for better sanitation in food preparation facilities. Same for the air that we breath. If not for environmental science from some hippy liberal scholar the Clean Air Act wouldn’t exist and we’d be living a smog ridden cities riddled with respiratory health problems.

The cars we drive are engineered to the highest safety standards in the world because of a liberal conspiracy to keep people from dying behind the wheel needlessly.

I could go on and on especially on social platforms that are attacked that have moved the whole of society ahead, but the war on science is a really a conservative illusion inflicted upon the masses who crave status quo. It’s not even so much an ignorance or education matter anymore. There is a willful ignorance that even well-educated people allow for themselves because is assuages their anxieties. However, THAT is the conspiracy, NOT science. At least with science there is evidence supporting claims. In religion everything is based on faith. Faith can be good, but when it gets in the way of reason and human decency then it has become the “devil” to the human race.
