I Don’t Know What I Am Doing!

NaNoWriMo 2015 Day 9

Today is the ninth day in the NaNoWriMo challenge, and I still managed to make my word count minimum today. Not quite as productive as yesterday, but I managed 1,848 words, bringing the total to 19,609. I haven’t the foggiest how many “actual pages” that would be if printed out and such, but it sure feels like a lot!

The funny thing about it all is that I keep just feeling around while I am writing this particular story, trying to keep tabs on the pulse of it and where it wants to go. I guess that makes me something of a pantser for right now, but I did start out with a really rudimentary outline idea of where I wanted to story to go.

I imagine the story will get to the end one of these days, but I’m glad it hasn’t gotten there yet, since we are still a few weeks away from the finish line. I just have to keep staying the course and soldier along.
