Amy, there is no better example of the problems women in this church face than some of the responses to your well-written post. Insults of “confused” and “prideful” are levied against you for speaking out against your unequal, lived experience. Someone can’t even write about their experience without someone saying Satan got them. That’s an enormous problem and demonstrates the sexism and group think you wrote about.
