First Blog Post!!!

I sail for British Youth Sailing in the RSX Transitional Training squad. In the past year, I have been advised in the past to start writing a blog for many reasons; attracting sponsors and future employers being two that were mentioned often. However what has really pushed me into making this was to force myself to reflect on events and training sessions in a productive way. I thought what better way to gather all of my thoughts on sailing and academia in one place but in a blog, which forces me to really think about what I have done and how I am going to improve.
This blog will mainly be about my sailing and the events I attend, results and whatever else I feel like in the car on the way home but it may also have bits and pieces about school and life so I apologise in advance if everything seems a bit random or not thought out. That’s because it is. I have made this purely for my own use and if anybody out there finds it even the slightest bit amusing then that will be a bonus. Sorry in advance for the spelling mistakes that I will make. Feel free to leave comments.
