The Campfire Project lies at the crossroads of technology and storytelling. For 114 episodes, Chris Domico and I have explored a variety of topics, technologies, companies and stories, always focusing on how different narratives are created, consumed, and sometimes destroyed, by the tools and technologies that underpin them. In the three years since the show began, we have hoped to give listeners a new way of viewing things they may otherwise take for granted, from something as hefty as democratic ideals to a single minuscule Lego brick. Each show has been a blast. And beginning this week with Episode 115, we’re making moves to continue to bring you the best show we can.
The Change-Up
Starting this week, The Campfire Project will be co-hosted by myself and Keith Monaghan, writer and author of Death To Marketing. Some listeners may remember Keith from his guest appearance last October on Episode 104 of the show, when he joined Chris and I to talk about Apple Watch, AirPods and the imminent future of wearable computing. That episode was great fun, and definitely worth a listen. We’re so excited to have Keith join us for the next few weeks on the show.
But Wait, What About Chris?
Fear not! The incorrigible Chris Domico is still very much a part of TCP. Though Chris unfortunately has to step back from the c0-host chair, rest assured that it is only temporary. Though he won’t be joining us on-air for a few weeks, Chris very much remains an integral part of the show and what makes it great. He’ll be working with Keith and I each week to bring listeners insights on new ideas and topics with his trademark dedication and wit.
All three of us are excited to start this new season, beginning this Sunday with Episode 115, where we’ll be tackling Mark Zuckerberg’s lengthy missive on technology, community, and globalization. Get caught up here.
Update:
The first episode with Keith in the co-host chair is now live and it couldn’t have turned out better. Listen to Episode 115: Digitizing Democracy here.
